Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern your use of Universalvani and your purchase of our books.

Last updated: July 9, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using universalvani.org or purchasing a book from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or make a purchase.

2. What We Sell

Universalvani sells digital books (PDF format) exploring wisdom traditions such as the Bhagavad Gita, applied to modern life. All products are digital and delivered electronically — there is no physical shipment.

3. Pricing & Payment

Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) for customers in India, and in US Dollars (USD) for customers outside India — your currency is detected automatically, and you can switch between the two yourself using the currency selector on the checkout page. The currency and amount shown on the checkout page before you pay is the amount you will be charged. Payment is processed securely by our third-party payment partners (Razorpay and/or Cashfree). We do not store your card or banking credentials.

4. License to Use

When you purchase a book, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to download and read it for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly share, or commercially exploit the book or its contents without our written permission.

5. Download Access

Your download link is personal to your order, time-limited, and usage-limited, as described in our Privacy Policy. If your link expires before you've downloaded your book, contact us and we'll reissue it at no charge.

6. Refunds

See our Refund Policy for our 7-day money-back guarantee.

7. Intellectual Property

All content — text, design, cover art, and branding — is the property of Universalvani unless otherwise noted, except for quoted scripture and attributed commentary, which remain in the public domain or belong to their respective sources as applicable.

8. Accuracy of Content

We take citation accuracy seriously — every verse we quote is checked against the source text, and every traditional commentary is clearly attributed. That said, our books represent one editorial reading among many valid interpretive traditions, and any modern-life application is our own synthesis, clearly labeled as such, not a claim of definitive scriptural authority.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our books are offered for informational and reflective purposes. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. To the extent permitted by law, Universalvani is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our content.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
